We were delighted to host travel blogger Kathi Kamleitner, the award-winning founder of Watch Me See, which provides inspiration and practical tips for visiting Scotland.
Kathi joined WONDER SEEKERS in the Scottish Highlands for a taste of some of our scientific travel adventures.
In part 1, Kathi visits the West Coast of Scotland to explore how travelling can turn the natural world into a classroom. She joins a guided coastal walk with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust and, after some expert tips for spotting marine life, travels to the Lochaber Geopark to learn the stories of the Highland landscape.
In part 2, Kathi meets Katie Murray, one of the researchers leading Wonder Seekers in Scotland, to find out more about how bringing together science and tourism can spark and satisfy our natural curiosity and encourage a deeper appreciation of our environment.
As Kathi says, "travelling to me, is about so much more than pretty landscapes. It's about engaging with the landscape and the people who live there on a meaningful level."
And that, in a nutshell, describes the thinking behind WONDER SEEKERS.
So sit back, relax and enjoy these immersive podcasts about our unique learning adventures.
