Whether you're a complete beginner to open water, an intermediate or experienced wild swimmer, sessions are tailored to your aspirations.
From acclimatisation techniques to learning how to risk assess conditions and the environment to developing stroke efficiency and advanced open water skills, I deliver sessions with a holistic learner centred ethos within a supportive environment. This can be a coaching session, guided wild swim in beautiful Argyll waters or both.
Sessions are offered across Argyll for individuals or small groups. I also collaborate with Provident Sailing, a majestic 100 year old ship, to facilitate sustainable wild swim adventure holidays across the coastline of Argyll, Hebrides and Highlands.
Sessions from dry land will typically last from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on weather conditions and the individual. The session will include a theoretical based beginning and what I call a "soft start transition" on dry land before anything between 15 to 30 minutes in the water (could be longer, depending on the swimmer and conditions) followed by an integrated recovery on dry land and plenary.
For the guided wild swim adventures by boat on Loch Fyne, the tours last for about two hours with anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour in the water, depending on conditions and the individual.
